There are three crystals that every crystal healer should have in their arsenal, and they are: Amethyst, Rose Quartz, and Clear Quartz.

  These stones are extremely valuable from an energetic perspective, and in fact, from a commercial perspective as well - as is the case with Amethyst and Rose Quartz. Their healing properties are very well known, and all of these stones can easily be found at most metaphysical shops. If you’re just beginning your crystal collection and are not sure where to start, I highly recommend you start with these. Each of these stones has all-encompassing healing properties, so that even if you only had one, you can be assured that it has more than enough power to support you in mind, body and spirit.

Amethyst

Everyone knows this beautiful purple stone on site! Amethyst is a stone for spiritual ascension and evolution. It’s purple colour is a great reminder that it corresponds with the energy of the Crown Chakra, which allows us to feel connected to Source and aligned in every aspect of our lives. Amethyst can also help you in matters relating to the spirit and psychic realm, such as mediumship and shamanism, by helping to open your upper chakras and bring you into a state of receptivity and concentration. Amethyst is great for bringing things into balance, and especially inducing states of deep relaxation, if that’s what’s needed. Amethyst kept by the bedside can help you have a restful sleep, and it’s also great to have around during your yoga practice. Amethyst has powerful physical healing properties, and can help soothe aches and pains. On an emotional level, Amethyst can help you feel calm, relieving anger, anxiety, and fear.

Rose Quartz

This pink stone is the crystal of love - self-love and love for others. Rose Quartz can help you to “fall back in love” with yourself, thereby helping to increase your self-confidence, self-worth, and assertiveness. From this state of wholeness, you will be more able to give and receive love from others. Rose Quartz helps to bring about energies of kindness and compassion, making it a great relationship stone (both romantic and platonic). It’s great for families and for places where many people gather, such as the workplace. It’s also a fairy stone, and being ruled by Venus, can be helpful with fertility as well. Rose Quartz has wonderful healing properties on the physical level overall, and is great to have whenever you’re feeling generally unwell. It’s soft, warm qualities also help to ease emotional issues, especially emotional upsets between yourself and others.

Clear Quartz

Ah, the ULTIMATE Master Crystal Healer! If you had to pick only one stone to have in your arsenal, it would be Clear Quartz. Clear Quartz has the energy of Source, or Universal Life Force. It has the ability to replace, or take on the energy of any stone that you ask it to, making it a great stone for balancing any or all of the chakras. Clear Quartz is a great energizer as well, and will amplify the power and healing effects of all the other stones and objects that it shares space with. Clear Quartz represents wholeness, power, joy, abundance in all areas, and health and in all areas. It’s one of the key crystals to help you manifest your desires into reality.
